WHAT TO BINGE// Fall Favorites

OKAY real talk:

This girl loves some good TV shows. BUT I’ve found a new love of podcasts and also have been trying to get into audio books (stay tuned..) I do a lot of driving between work and school and music doesn’t always make the time pass by very well. Along with loving watchin my shows, I thought I would share everything I’m loving entertainment wise so I can hook everyone else on my binge habits! You’re welcome.

 

TV SHOWS:

  1. Blue Bloods, Netflix– This show has been out for a bit, but I am OBSESSED. This is the show I’m currently watching and its filling a Law & Order void I didn’t know that I had. Such a great cast & the storylines are so good.Screen Shot 2018-11-18 at 9.42.14 AM.png
  2. Evil Genius, Netflix– Okay this one is a true binger. I watched this all in one day. It’s only a few episodes but its so interesting to get behind the mind of someone who isn’t telling the whole truth & to watch someone’s life go in a completely different direction than you thought.   3. Castle Rock, Hulu- This is SUCH a creepy show. I am in the middle of watching it with my dad and every time I watch it I can’t believe how creepy it is. I also LOVE Stephen King so it makes sense that I would like this. I thought it was just another unsolved murder show, but it took a SHARP turn..        Screen Shot 2018-11-18 at 9.46.43 AM.png
  4. Big Little Lies, HBO- For real, one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. If you haven’t already seen the first season then binge it before the next one comes back in 2019!! The cast is amazing and it is filmed in beautiful Big Sur so what’s not to love about it??   5. 11/22/63, Hulu– Okay, this is an oldish show thats been out for awhile but I’m going to rewatch it because its THAT good. James Franco goes back in time to try & stop the Kennedy assassination- if that doesn’t pull you in already, idk what will. PODCASTS:

  1. Serial– This is the podcast that started it all for me. Season 1 goes through the case of a young girl who was murdered one day after school. Her EX boyfriend is charged with the murder but there are so many loose ends that don’t meet. This podcast goes through the ins and outs of the case and leaves you wondering who actually killed her. This case is actually going to the court of appeals I believe so there are certain updates coming onto the podcast. ALSO this is getting turned into a TV show and I couldn’t be more thrilled.Screen Shot 2018-11-18 at 9.50.42 AM.png
  2. Small Town Dicks– This podcast is by far, my most favorite. Two women interested in true crime sit down and listen to deceives in a small town tell their most interesting cases. They ask ALL the stupid questions that we probably would & they also give you so so many great tips on being alert and how to deal with certain situations.   3. Dirty John– I can’t tell you how many people that I hooked onto this podcast. This is allll the rage right now and is ALSO getting its own TV show premiering TONIGHT at 10 pm on Bravo, staring the lovely Connie Britton! This podcast is also local to anyone that lives in SoCal so its pretty surreal when they start discussing all the places and you know where they all are!   4. TMG– For those of you who watched vines and enjoy raunchy comedy, this is a great podcast. Every time I listen to this I crack up & people probably look at me like I’m crazy. Its a podcast run by Cody Ko & Noel Miller- at least check out their youtube if you get the chance because they are hilarious. Screen Shot 2018-11-18 at 9.51.00 AM.png
  5. Hell and Gone– I just started this one and I AM OBSESSED! This is the uncovering of a cold case from what started as a missing person’s case- turned murder. This podcast goes through the mysterious case of a young 22 year old who is found dead and now 14 years later- the killer still isn’t found.   6. This American Life– This podcast is actually on my list of ones to watch! I’ve listened to a few episodes but haven’t gotten to dive too deep in it. That is it for my Fall Favorites for everything entertainment!! I hope you enjoy/ at least look into some of these because they’re THAT GOOD that I wanted to make a blog post for them so, that’s saying something.
