I love me a good, refreshing cocktail but I don’t like anything too sweet bc #hangoverssuck. I love making this homemade lemonade and to spice it up I added strawberries and oranges and it screamed “put alcohol in me QUICK!” OR if you just want a fresh, healthy lemonade on a hot day, you don’t have to add the vodka! This is a super easy drink and it looks like you put a lot more effort into in than required so if you’re lazy like me but like the aesthetic of a cute cocktail, then this is the drink for you!
- 1 1/2 Cups fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 Cup honey or Agave Nectar
- 5 Cups water
- 4-5 Medium sized strawberries
- 1 Small Tangerine
- Vodka of choice
WHAT TO DO:
- Pour all ingredients into a pitcher and stir a lot until everything is mixed together and the honey is broken down.
- Muddle strawberries and tangerine (peel the orange completely, don’t muddle with skin on) at the bottom of the pitcher until they’re pretty crushed up and/or the color of the lemonade begins to change.
- Pour vodka into glass (desired amount) and then pour the lemonade over it.
- Garnish with strawberry or an orange slice & enjoy!!
XOXO,
2 Shots of Vodka.
