Happy Friday sunshiners!!
Going to Disneyland parallels with the Friday feeling, I think. So, I got my Disney pass in the middle of August of last year and I’ve been having SO much fun going!! I thought I would do a little post of my favorite things to do and tips of avoiding crowds and I also got super cute pictures last time I was there so I’m basically using this as an excuse to do a post tbh.

-Going early isn’t always the best idea.
J and I usually don’t have the time to spend a whole day at Disney but I recently just went with my friend and we went RIGHT when they opened. The parking was a nightmare & the security check lines were horrific. J lives very close to the park so we usually will just get dropped off or uber there so we’re not out $20. So, point is, even if its the middle of the week, don’t expect it to be less crowded!
-C O M F Y S H O E S.
I can’t stress this enough. The other day I was there, we walked FIVE MILES. I tried to be cute in vans slip-ons and my feet were not happy. I’ll usually wear athletic shoes but fashion b4 comfort rite???? Also layering your clothes really helps bc California weather is off & on so just be safe and bring a jacket at least.
-Get the Disney app!
This one is pretty self explanatory but it’s super helpful. Its the best way to check wait times, get your fast pass and check showtimes, etc.
-Bring water from home.
Water at Disney (among other things) is SUPER overpriced. Justin and I will usually just bring a 40 oz hydroflask and its a perfect amount for the both of us if we’re staying for just a few hours! And if need be, they have tons of water fountains.
That’s pretty much it for my tips bc I’m no expert at Disney (J takes the cake on that one.) So I thought I would share my favorite things to do at the parks & fav places to eat & all that.

-If you don’t follow any of my other advice, at LEAST consider this one: the clam chowder in a bread bowl at California Adventure on the pier. Seriously SO good and also I just learned you can get mac & cheese in there soo I definitely need to try that.
-I’m honestly a simple girl & corndogs make me super happy, the best part? They’re at several points in each park. They have tons of simple food like that everywhere but don’t worry, it’s still super overpriced.
-As for sweets, my GO TO is definitely a warm chocolate chip cookie from Ghirardelli. If the line is too long then I usually stick to a churro (they have fun seasonal flavors around the holiday & the pumpkin spice one is my FAVVVV) and also just an ice cream cone if its a hot day!
-My FAV rides are: Pirates, Cars, Thunder Mountain, Monsters Inc, Indiana Jones, and Haunted Mansion! I get motion sick pretty easily so some rides are obviously easier than others.
That’s pretty much it for favs & Disney advice. OH and the most important thing, don’t be a close line waiter. I’m talking about when you’re waiting in line and the person behind you is SO close that you can pretty much feel their breath on you… don’t be that person.
Thank you for reading and keep scrollin’ for all of my pictures!!
Also P.S. fun fact: I HATE mascots and anyone dressed up in a costume and every time I go with someone they know to tell me not to turn around or something so I guess it’s good that we usually go at night! #WeirdPhobia
