Reading will always be my favorite way to pass the time so I thought I would share some of my favorite books that I had layin around if anyone needs a good read🤓 I’ve linked all the books on Amazon if you’re interested in reading any of them you can just click on the picture of the book. They are in order of my favorites if you were wondering, tell me some of your favorites in the comments!
1. A Million Little Pieces by James Frey

I listed this one first because it’s one of my all time favorite books on this list. The details in which Frey describes coping with drug addiction is literally addicting. I believe I finished this in a couple days it was that good.
2. 11/22/63 by Stephen King

I personally love King and all of his gore. This book is also a TV show on Hulu so if you want the lazy version then go watch that! But this is by far (in my opinion obviously) one of his best.
3. Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur

So, this book is very popular because it’s really cute on the outside and I see a lot of pictures on Instagram of this book but I really hope it’s because they’ve actually read it. She captures femininity in a way that I’ve never seen. It’s very well done. Alsooo she has a new book that came out recently and it’s on the way to my house right now so I’ll update you on that but if it’s anything like this, she’s got another amazing book under her belt.
4. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

I haven’t read this one in a long time but you can see from the outside that it’s been read a few times. This book was made into a movie and I have yet to see it simply because I bawled my eyes out reading it so I can’t imagine seeing it unfold for real. I’ve heard the movie isn’t as good as the book so I also don’t want to ruin it for myself! If you need a good cry, this is the book for you. 😢
5. The Secret Life Of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd

This book is so heartfelt and just tugs at my heartstrings every time I read it. This was also made into a movie which, normally the book is always better, but the movie is just as heartfelt. This could easily pass as one of my favorites of all time.
6. Suzanne’s Diary For Nicholas by James Patterson

I have a soft spot for any romance novel or anything that captivates my attention, really. This story to me was unique to regular romance stories and I took a lot from reading this book. It’s really sweet and easy to read!
7. The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks

Yes, you’ve guessed it. This girl doesn’t mind a Sparks novel. Sue me. This is actually my favorite one by him (followed closely by The Longest Ride.) I couldn’t turn these pages fast enough, like I said about the Patterson novel, it’s also very sweet and heartfelt. While I enjoy King and thrilling mysteries too, can’t resist a good love story.💓
8. Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins

I had this book on my kindle, which I sold and have my nook now. I LOVED this book. I recently finished it and I have yet to see the movie that came out about it. Seriously such a good depiction of the characters and the ending is everything I wanted it to be- so twisted. This book was really popular and I can totally see why. **Also side note, I love my nook and would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about getting one to do it!
9. Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Okay, this book BLEW UP. Seriously it was all I heard about for awhile so I had to see what all the fuss was about. I really liked this book and I think there is a movie about this one too and I haven’t seen it yet (I really need to get on watching some movies.) I found this book to have similar thrilling qualities as the previous book I mentioned but I love the way this book was written and how captivating this story was comparatively.
10. Where The Heart Is by Billie Letts

Okay, for the last book, I totally forgot about it to be honest and I’m so glad I remembered to put it on here. I didn’t know I would like a book such as this one, it’s so unique but I really liked it. It was lighthearted and the cover is a perfect depiction of how simple this story is. I mean it was in Oprah’s book club so that should be enough of a sign for you. I also just learned that this too is a movie and I’m thinking I should just acknowledge that most of these are popular books turned into movies so idk what that says about my taste but there ya go🤷🏼♀️
Thank you so much for reading this post, hopefully next you’ll read some of these books and tell me what ya think!
XOXO,

Hi! I actually have not, but honestly I haven’t come across a bad novel from him so I assume it’s good. It’ll go on my list for sure.
