I’m baaaaack..
Actually no, I’ve always been here but life has a funny way of making things go not according to plan. I’ve mentioned in past posts that math and I weren’t friends and this was my last chance to pass before I got my AA. I know you’re on the edge of your seat about my math grade but to put you all at ease, I passed and I no longer have to take another math class ever again and I couldn’t be happier! So, as I waited and waited and waited to hear back from colleges, the only school I had my heart set on threw me in circles talking to the admissions department and making the entire process something almost unbearable. While I had my heart set on that particular school, I also had my heart set on going to school in the fall. I have been accepted to Cal Poly Pomona and I’m proud of myself for accomplishing something I honestly didn’t think I was capable of. After I got over not going to that school, I was nothing but excited. I cannot wait to see what life has in store for me in this next chapter of my life.
This blog is something that I always dreamed about and I always knew that even if life got in the way I could come back to it. I’ve learned that my struggles have only become apart of my journey. Things really do have a weird way of working out. So for all those having mental breakdowns in their car and late night freak outs about why life is so hard sometimes, that’s all a part of it. We are far from perfect and we often don’t realize that everything we’re working for will happen eventually and if it doesn’t- something better is on the horizon.
